Offices, Workshops and Stores. The Contractor shall provide, erect and maintain for his own use, any additional office accommodation and stores he requires, together with drainage, lighting, heating, and hot and cold-water services as required.  The Contractor’s site establishment price includes all treatment of the site that he considers necessary for his entire operation throughout his period of occupation and under all weather conditions.  The Contractor also includes for all security and access arrangements that he considers necessary.

Offices, Workshops and Stores. The Contractor shall provide, erect and maintain for his own use, any additional office accommodation and stores he requires together with drainage, lighting, heating, and hot and cold water services as required.  The Contractor’s site establishment price shall include all treatment of the site that he considers necessary for his entire operation throughout his period of occupation and under all weather conditions.  The Contractor shall also consider all security and access arrangements that he considers necessary.  The Contractor shall provide, maintain and remove on completion at his own cost, all connection fittings, pipe work, temporary plumbing, and pumps necessary to lead the water from the point of supply to the various points where it is required. Such fittings must be compatible with the Employer’s fittings so that galvanic corrosion of pipe work is prevented.

The Contractor shall take appropriate measures to minimise the generation of dust as a result of his works, operations and activities to the satisfaction of the Service Manager. The management of waste on site shall be strictly controlled and monitored. Only accepted waste disposal methods shall be allowed; Littering shall be avoided; Domestic waste All domestic waste shall be disposed of in an accepted domestic waste disposal site. Organic waste All organic waste shall be disposed of in an accepted organic waste disposal site. Hazardous waste All hazardous waste shall be disposed of in an accepted hazardous waste disposal site and a disposal certificate supplied to the Service Manager. Hook ups to existing works Should the Contractor require interfacing his equipment to the Affected Facility, this will be done at the Contractor’s cost based on approval by the Service Manager. Compliance to the Eskom Life Saving procedure and Work at Height Standard, 32-418. All securing points and necessary equipment required to Work at Heights must be provided for by the Contractor. Offices, Workshops and Stores. The Contractor will make use of the work areas provided by the Employer in pursuit of doing Eskom work. The cleaning and housekeeping of all areas provided is the responsibility of the Contractor.

  • Workshops During the month of September or October of each year during the term of this Agreement, there shall be held at each University a workshop for Department Chairs at which will be discussed their roles and responsibilities as such. Representatives of the University, at its election, and representatives of the Association, at its election, shall be permitted to participate jointly in such workshop.
