On-Call Duty Premium (Plant & MEM. (a) Four (4) Hours Pay An employee required to be on-call for a period up to twenty-four (24) hours will be compensated by four (4) hours at the employee’s regular rate of pay. In the event the employee is actually required to attend at work during this period, the first call- in does not trigger any additional pay, unless the time worked requires compensation in excess of four (4) hours. Additional time worked is paid at the employee’s regular rate of pay.

  • On-Call Duty (a) Employees shall be paid one (1) hour of pay at the regular straight time rate for each six (6) hours of assigned on-call duty. Employees who are assigned on-call duty for less than six (6) hours shall be paid on a prorated basis.

  • On Call Allowance (a) An employee who agrees to be on call, that is, the employee agrees to make themselves ready and available to return to work at short notice whilst off duty, shall be paid the allowance, for each period of 24 hours or part thereof, set out in Item 17 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement.

  • Unpaid Leave - After Three Years For every three (3) years' continuous service, an employee may request, in writing, an extended unpaid leave of absence, giving the longest possible advance notice. Every reasonable effort shall be made to comply with such requests providing that replacements to ensure proper operation of the Employer's business can be found. Notice of the Employer's decision shall be in writing.
