On-Call Duty. 5.7.1 To provide for and take care of problems and emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours, certain employees will be assigned to weekly tours of on-call duty. Telephone response time will be within five (5) minutes of the call to the on- call duty employee. " shall be deemed to mean any period during which an Employee is not on regular duty, and during which the Employee is on call and must be reasonably available to respond without undue delay to any request to return to duty.
38.02 The Employer agrees to pay for each hour of On-Call duty does not include District-scheduled weekend work.Duty to which an Employee is assigned:
5.7.2 The regular tour of a) Three dollars and thi rty cents ($3.30) when such on-call duty for all bargaining unit members will falls on normal working days.

c) Except in cases of emergency, the Employer shall avoid placing an Employee "on-call" on the day immediately preceding her annual vacation period.
d) The Employer shall make every effort to avoid placing an Employee "on call" on the evening prior to or during scheduled off-duty days.
e) Wherever possible, the Employee shall not be for a assigned to on-call duty more than seven (7) day week beginning on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. consecutive calendar days. ARTICLE 39 - PREMIUMS
39.01 Employees who are assigned to cond uct training as outlined in the ISTP progra m specifically for the purpose of certification of new hires, retraining or recertification, shall receive a premium of one dollar and ending the following Tuesday at 7:59 a.m.twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for each hour or part thereof spent training.
5.7.3 a) The supervisor above premium shall prepare and post an on-call duty assignment list, which will show all assignments and rotations of duty for a specified time period. 39.03 A premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($ 1. 50) per hour, for all hours worked on the scheduled shift, shall be paid to Clinical Assistant(s) recruited or scheduled to partici xxxx in mobile equipment truck clinic equipment unload and re-call dutyload. A Named Holiday or scheduled day off shall run from zero zero zero one (0001) hours on the Named Holiday or scheduled day off, to twenty-four hundred (2400) hours of the same day.
(a) For each occasion that an employee is called back to duty during the employee's on-call period, in addition to the payment received for being on-call, the employee shall be deemed to be working overtime and shall be paid for all hours worked during the on-call period or for three (3) hours, whichever is the longer, at the flat rate shown below overtime rate. An employee called back to duty will be permitted to leave upon completion of the procedure for each seven which she was called back. However, any further requests for procedures received by an employee prior to leaving following completion of the work required on the initial call shall be considered one (71) day tour call for the purpose of determining call-back pay.

5.7.6 On-call duty pay is compensation for the following and, except as provided in this Article 5.8, no additional compensation working overtime and shall be provided paid for these duties: all hours worked during the on-call period or for three (3) hours, whichever is the longer, at the overtime rate. An Employee called back to duty assignmentwill be permitted to leave upon completion of the procedure for which she was called back. However, travel any further requests for procedures received by an Employee prior to leaving following completion of the District Corporation Yard/WTP or other work site, travel home from the Corporation Yard/WTP or other work site, and receiving emergency telephone calls and talking to customers required on the telephone regarding initial call shall be considered one

(b) When a Regular or Temporary Employee who has not been assigned "on- call duty", is called and required to report for work without undue delay, she shall be deemed to be working overtime and shall be paid for all hours worked or for three (3) hours, whichever is the longer, at the overtime rate.
19.05 Where the Employer requires an Employee to carry a pocket pager while on-call duty employee is provided call, such pagers shall be supplied by the Employer. The number and distribution of pagers shall be determined by the Employer and shall remain the property of the Employer.
19.06 Call back compensation may be taken as such or in time off in accordance with appropriate District technologythe provisions of Article 13.05.
19.07 Where an Employee works more than six (6) hours on a call-back pursuant to Article 19.04, on-call duty pay includes compensation for using the District technology she shall be entitled to determine the significance eight (8) hours rest before commencing her next scheduled shift, without loss of any alarm; checking District technology; and monitoring, activating, and making minor changes or adjustments to District systems via the District technologyregular earnings.
