OPERATING COMPANY NUMBER (OCN). 6.1 For the purposes of establishing service and providing efficient and consolidated billing, MCIm is required to provide SBC ILLINOIS its authorized and nationally recognized Operating Company Number (OCN) for facilities-based (Interconnection and/or unbundled Network Elements) and a separate and distinct OCN for Resale Services. MCIm is responsible for costs of implementing any changes to an OCN/ACNA whether or not it involves a merger, consolidation, assignment or transfer of assets shall be determined through the BFR process set forth in Appendix BFR. Nothing in this Section shall be construed to constitute a waiver of either Party’s rights under Case No. 02- 13533 (United States Bankruptcy Court Southern District of New York).
OPERATING COMPANY NUMBER (OCN). A code used in the telephone industry to identify a telephone company. The National Exchange Carrier Association (NECA) assigns company codes that may be used as OCNs.

Insight is responsible for costs of implementing any changes to an OCN/ACNA whether or not it involves a merger, consolidation, assignment or transfer of assets shall be determined through the BFR process set forth in Appendix BFR. OPERATING COMPANY NUMBER (OCN). 6.1 Upon the Effective Date, MCIm shall provide SBC MISSOURI with MCIm’s state-specific authorized and nationally recognized OCNs as applicable, for facilities-based (Interconnection and/or unbundled Network Elements) and a separate and distinct OCN for Resale Services as required by the North American Company Code Assignment Procedures. In addition, MCIm shall provide SBC MISSOURI with MCIm’s Access Carrier Name Abbreviations (ACNAs) as assigned by Telcordia Technologies.
6.2 Any assignment or transfer of an Agreement wherein only MCIm’s name is changing, and which does not include a change to MCIm’s OCN/ACNA, constitutes a MCIm Name Change. For a MCIm Name Change, MCIm will incur a record order charge for each MCIm CABS BAN. For resale or any other products not billed in CABS, a record order charge will apply per end user record. Rates for record orders are contained in Appendix Pricing.
6.3 When an end user customer changes its service provider from SBC MISSOURI to MCIm or from MCIm to SBC MISSOURI and does not retain its original telephone number, the Party formerly providing service to such end user customer shall furnish a referral announcement (“Referral Announcement”) on the original telephone number that specifies the end user customer’s new telephone number. These arrangements will be provided reciprocally for the same period of time and under the same terms and conditions as such Party provides such arrangements to its existing end user customers.
