ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. Resident and Landlord agree not to violate any county or city ordinance, or state or federal law. Resident agrees not to commit or permit any waste or nuisance in or about the Premises or keep any combustible materials in the Premises or do anything that might create a hazard or fire on the Premises. Resident acknowledges that the sale, distribution or use of illegal drugs or abuse of legal drugs, is expressly prohibited by state and federal law. Such activity engaged in by Resident, Authorized Occupants, Resident’s family member(s), or guests, or any arrests for such activity in or around Agent managed Apartments, will lead to immediate termination by Landlord of this Lease pursuant to Virginia Code §55.1-1245, as amended.
ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. The Tenant shall observe and fulfil the provisions and requirements of all statutes, orders in council, by-laws, rules and regulations, relating directly or indirectly to the use of the Leased Premises and shall comply with all reasonable requirements of any insurer under any policy of insurance affecting the Development.
ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. 22. The Tenant hereby covenants and agrees to comply with all the rules and regulations of the Board of Fire Underwriters, Officers or Boards of the City, County or State having jurisdiction over the leased premises, and with all ordinances and regulations or governmental authorities wherein the leased premises are located, at Tenant’s sole cost and expense, but only insofar as any of such rules, ordinances and regulations pertain to this tenancy and the manner in which the Tenant shall use the leased premises; the obligation to comply in every other case, and also all cases where such rules, regulations and ordinances require repairs, alterations, changes or additions to the building (including the leased premises) or building equipment, or any part of either, being hereby expressly assumed by Landlord, and Landlord covenants and agrees promptly and duly to comply with all such rules, regulations and ordinances with which Tenant has not herein expressly agreed to comply.
ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. The Tenant shall comply promptly, at the Tenant's sole cost and expense, with all present and future laws, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations of any municipal, county, state, federal or other governmental authority, including environmental laws, and any bureau or department thereof, and of the Board of Fire Underwriters or any other body exercising similar functions, which may be applicable to the Premises and Tenant's use or occupancy of the Premises, and shall comply with the requirements of all of Landlord's policies of insurance at any time in force with respect to the Building in which the Premises are located. The Tenant agrees for itself and for its subtenants, employees, agents, and invitees to comply with the Rules and Regulations, promulgated from time to time with respect o the Premises, Building, Property and Center, a copy of which is available in the management office in the Center. Notwithstanding any other provision of this lease to the contrary, Tenant shall comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), as it now exists and as it may hereafter be amended, with regard to the Premises and the Tenant's use of the Premises, including, without limitation, the obligation to make the Premises accessible and shall hold Landlord harmless with respect thereto. Landlord shall not be responsible for compliance with the ADA with respect to the Premises, including the design or construction thereof. Tenant waives any right, claim, defense or set off which Tenant may have, now or hereafter, based upon any responsibility Landlord may have under the ADA with respect to the Premises, the Building, the Property or otherwise. Tenant agrees that any and all steps taken or to be taken by Landlord, in Landlord's judgement, now or hereafter, to comply with the ADA concerning the Building or the Property are authorized and permitted under the Lease and shall not constitute an interruption, disturbance or other breach of Tenant's rights under this Lease. Nothing herein shall constitute an admission by Landlord that the ADA governs any part of the Premises, Building or Property or any activities of Landlord with respect thereto.

The Tenant, at its sole expense, hereby covenants and agrees to comply with all the rules and regulations of the Board of Fire Underwriters and Officers or Boards of the City, County or State having jurisdiction over the Leased Premises, and with all ordinances, regulations and governmental authorities wherein the Leased Premises are located, but only insofar as any of such rules, ordinances and regulations pertain to the use Tenant is making of the Leased Premises. Tenant shall not permit noxious or offensive odors to emanate from the Leased Premises or otherwise engage in any activity or inactivity which would constitute a nuisance. Tenant acknowledges that Landlord, its agents, representatives, and governmental authorities, including, without limitation, Fire Marshals or Health Inspectors, may inspect the Leased Premises at any reasonable time and, in the event that Tenant is deemed to be in non-compliance with this Paragraph 7 or any governmental rules, regulations or ordinances, then Tenant shall promptly remedy such non-compliance, paying all costs, expenses, fees or fines associated therewith and, in the event Tenant does not so promptly remedy such non-compliance, then Landlord may, but is under no obligation to, remedy the same and recover all expenses relating thereto from Tenant unless such remedy is required as a result of deficiencies in the initial construction of the Premises by Landlord or its contractors. In the event that Landlord’s premium increases as a result of the nature or manner of the use or occupancy of the Leased Premises by the Tenant, then Tenant shall pay such increases as additional rent hereunder.

Lessee hereby covenants and agrees to comply with all the rules and regulations of the Board of Fire Underwriters, Officers, or Boards of the City, County, and State having jurisdiction over the leased premises, and with all ordinances and regulations of governmental authorities wherein the leased premises are located, at Lessee's sole cost and expense, but only insofar as any of such rules, ordinances, and regulations pertain to the manner in which the Lessee shall use the leased premises; the obligation to comply in every other case and also all cases where such rules, regulations and ordinances require repairs, alterations, changes, or additions to the building (including the leased premises, but not caused by Lessee's use thereof) or building equipment, or any part of either, being hereby expressly assumed by Lessor, and Lessor covenants and agrees to comply 5 with all such rules, regulations, and ordinances with which Lessee has not herein expressly agreed to comply.**
ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. Lessee shall have the sole responsibility to comply with all federal, state, and local and municipal laws, ordinances and regulations with respect to the Food Service Operations. Xxxxxx's failure to comply with this requirement shall be cause for termination of this Lease.
ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. The CONTRACTOR shall use the standard of care in its profession to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations.
ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. The Contractor shall give all notices and comply with all Federal, State and local laws, ordinances and regulations in any manner affecting the conduct of the work, and all such orders and decrees as exist, or may be enacted by bodies or tribunals having any jurisdiction or authority over the work, and shall indemnify and save harmless the Owner and the Engineer against any claim or liability arising from, or based on, the violation of any such law, ordinance, regulation, order or decrees, whether by himself or his employees.
ORDINANCES AND REGULATIONS. The Tenant hereby covenants and agrees to promptly comply with all the rules and regulations of all governments and agencies having jurisdiction over the Premises, and with all laws, ordinances and regulations of governmental authorities wherein the Premises are located, at Tenant’s sole cost and expense.
