ORGANIZED RESERVED FORCES. Every person who is a member of a service component of the Armed Forces of the United States shall be granted, in accordance with Section 59 of Chapter 33 of the General Laws, leave of absence without loss of pay, during the time of his/her annual tour of duty as a member of such reserve component; provided, however, that such leave shall not exceed seventeen (17) days.

ORGANIZED RESERVED FORCES. Every person who is a member of a service component of the Armed Forces of the United States shall be granted, in accordance with Section 59 of Chapter 33 of the General Laws, leave of absence without loss of pay, during the time of his/her annual tour of duty as a member of such reserve component; provided, however, that such leave shall not exceed seventeen (17) days. This shall apply to reserve service which the teacher cannot postpone to the summer vacation. Members new to the unit or joining an Armed Forces Reserve Unit after September 1, 1984 will be governed by the following: Payment will be made under the above section; however, in no event is the member to receive a combined pay for the period which totals more than (s) he would normally receive for the same period while teaching.
ORGANIZED RESERVED FORCES. Every person who is a member of a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States or of the National Guard shall be granted leave without loss of pay in accordance with Section 59 of Chapter 33 of the General Laws after furnishing official evidence that he has been ordered to duty. It is agreed, however, that in the interest of minimizing disruption, the employee, the Union and the Superintendent/Director will exhaust every effort to attempt to schedule all discretionary duty during July and August whenever possible.

  • Personnel Controls The County Department/Agency agrees to advise County Workers who have access to Pll, of the confidentiality of the information, the safeguards required to protect the information, and the civil and criminal sanctions for non- compliance contained in applicable federal and state laws.   • Transporting Students Teachers shall not be required to transport a student in a private vehicle on behalf of the school.

  • Interstate Educational Personnel Contracts 1. The designated state official of a party state may make 1 or more contracts on behalf of his state with 1 or more other party states providing for the acceptance of educational personnel. Any such contract for the period of its duration shall be applicable to and binding on the states whose designated state officials enter into it, and the subdivisions of those states, with the same force and effect as if incorporated in this agreement. A designated state official may enter into a contract pursuant to this article only with states in which he finds that there are programs of education, certification standards or other acceptable qualifications that assure preparation or qualification of educational personnel on a basis sufficiently comparable, even though not identical to that prevailing in his own state.

  • Preferred Provider - Prescription Drugs The Board shall provide, through the Xxxxx County Council of Governments, a preferred provider drug program that, if the employee chooses to utilize, will include the following:
