Ormen Xxxxx. Feasability Study 2000 Concept selection 2002 Appraisal well July 2000 Production Start 2007 Approved by the Norwegian Parliament April 2004 Ormen Xxxxx gas field is the second largest gas field offshore in Norway and third largest output of gas in Europe. Xxxxx discovered this field in 1997 and started production in 2007. The location of Ormen Xxxxx is 120 kilometres off Midwest coast of Norway and around 850 meters to 1100 meters depth. Partners in Ormen Xxxxx license are Statoil ASA, Petoro AS, Shell, Norway’s Petoro AS and Exxon Mobil Corp. These companies share risks and profits when they decide to do the investment. The development phase in this field is operated by Statoil while production phase is operated by Shell (X. Xxxxxxx, X. Xxxx and H.P. Sejrup, 2005). Meanwhile, Xxxxxx is responsible for developing the gas infrastructure system in the cost efficient way. The capacity of condensate process during the production is about 6000 to 8500 Sm3 per day and 70 million Sm3 for gas per day. Langeled is the world’s longest subsea pipeline with 42” to 44” pipes from Nyhamna in Norway to Easington on the east coast of England. The total length of Langeled is 1200km. Moreover, Ormen Xxxxx gas field could cover 20 percent of the gas requirement by UK up to 40 years. (Xxxxx Xxxx Xxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx, 2007). Since Norwegian gas exported to Europe through the integrated transport system were total 94.6 billion standard cubic meters (scm) in 2007, it is necessary to have a substantial, long-term need for additional gas pipeline capacity (Gassco1). Submit PDO/ XXX 2003 Figure 4.1 describes the main decisions in Ormen Xxxxx project since it has been discovered. The project was approved by the Norwegian Parliament in April 2004. The construction and installation activities were performed on scheduled and they were completed in October 2007. After that it has started gas production and contributes significantly to make Norway become the second largest exporter of natural gas in the world. The Ormen Xxxxx project was divided into three parts. The first is Ormen Xxxxx onshore project which consists of the gas-processing facilities at Nyhamna. The second subproject is Ormen Xxxxx offshore project. It consists of the subsea installations which are about 120km offshore with templates, manifolds and pipelines. Plans call for a subsea development on Svale and Stær to be tied back to Norne. That in turn could extend this field’s producing life by five to 10 years, and provide big added value for licensees Statoil, Petoro and Norsk Hydro. Output from Gullfaks was expected until recently to decline towards 2011-12. The licence is now operating with a pro- duction life up 2016, and perhaps even longer. Greater water injection has made an important contribution to that revision. Very good collaboration between the licensees and the Norwegian authorities led to the decision to expand water circulation by about 50 per cent. Xxxxxx played an important role in that process by making constructive suggestions. Enhanced water injection could permit the recovery of about 107 million barrels (17 million standard cubic metres) in additional crude from Gullfaks.

  • SHOP XXXXXXX The Shop Xxxxxxx shall be a County employee as selected by the Union. A list of shop stewards will be kept current and sent by the Union to each department head and to Human Resources. Duties required by the Union of its stewards, except attendance at meetings with the County, supervisory personnel and aggrieved employees arising out of a grievance already initiated by an employee under Article 14 hereof, shall not interfere with their or other employees, regular work assignments as employees of the County. The shop xxxxxxx, or their designee, involved with a particular grievance must be identified at Step 1 of the grievance procedure and will be designated as the only bargaining unit employee who will be able to gather information pertaining to that particular grievance. The Union will make reasonable efforts to control the amount of investigative time spent between the shop xxxxxxx and the aggrieved employee. Meetings scheduled with management and other proper investigative procedures, and attendance at meetings specified in Steps 1 and 2 of the grievance procedure shall be considered hours worked for compensation purposes to the extent such meetings occur during the normal hours of work, and not otherwise. In order to use union leave for this purpose, Shop Stewards must notify the supervisor/department head of meetings and other commitments at the time these are scheduled. Attendance at meetings specified in Step 3 of the grievance procedure shall be considered hours worked during regularly scheduled business hours of the County for the xxxxxxx involved, witnesses and the grievant. The County shall not be liable for any overtime as a result of the meeting. Witnesses and the shop xxxxxxx involved shall be granted leave with pay to the extent their presence at the proceedings is required. If it is a discharge case the grievant shall not be paid except as provided in a remedy awarded.
