Other leaves of one year or less. The Michigan Teachers’ Tenure Act states that a Board may grant a leave of absence upon written request of a teacher for a period not to exceed one (l) year, subject to renewal at the will of the Board. The following conditions shall apply to all such leaves granted by the Board:
