OVERTIME for Lieutenants. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this Article (including Section (b), below), overtime hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week shall be paid in cash or compensatory time off at the discretion of the employer, at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s regular hourly rate.
