Lieutenant. Full rate for Firefighter with comparable years of service plus nineteen percent (19%) (Differential includes step program). A Lieutenant acting as a Captain xxxx get a Lieutenant’s pay for comparable years of service plus fifteen percent (15%).

Lieutenant. (a) Current employment with the County as Firefighter or Driver Operator; and
(b) Forty-eight (48) continuous months as a Department protocoled Paramedic; and
(c) Current certification in International Trauma Life Support (ITLS). Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS); or Pre-Hospital Trauma Support (PHTLS); and
(d) Department approved Advanced Airway Management Class.
Lieutenant. In order to take the promotional examination for Lieutenant, an applicant shall be an employee of the Middletown Fire Department and shall have at least fire (5) years of service on the Middletown Fire Department, as of the date of the written examination, including his/her probationary period.
Lieutenant. Twenty percent (20%) over the hourly rate for Lieutenant when acting as a supervisor (otherwise twenty percent (20%) over the top step hourly rate for Police Officer). The Non-City Sponsored Detail Rates only apply to a detail paid to members from outside employers directly and does not apply to overtime or a detail paid on the City paycheck. The detail rate for a Police Specialist will be the same as for a Police Officer.

Lieutenant. The College shall not schedule a Lieutenant to work alone. If a Lieutenant is scheduled to work and is confronted with the unscheduled absence of a bargaining unit employee, the Lieutenant may call in another bargaining unit member, call in a temporary employee, or work alone. When a Lieutenant is scheduled for a period of absence and the College elects to add bargaining unit hours, the parties will utilize the following procedure:
1. The Lieutenant will notify all campuses in writing of the availability of overtime and that acceptances must be returned within two (2) days of the notice;
2. Bargaining unit members shall have the option of accepting or rejecting the overtime, but acceptances shall be for at least four (4) hour blocks of time and the College may refuse to assign the overtime if, in the judgment of the College, the total hours worked by an individual would be excessive so as to affect his/her ability to carry out job duties;
3. If the entire period of the Lieutenant absence is not filled by voluntary acceptances from the bargaining unit members, the College shall have the option of assigning any time not filled with a temporary employee. If a temporary employee is not available, the College may assign the remaining time as mandatory overtime to bargaining unit members on the basis of inverse seniority regardless of classification, first by campus and then college wide. The College may skip over individuals in the assignment of mandatory overtime if, in the judgment of the College, the total hours worked by an individual would be excessive so as to affect his/her ability to carry out job duties.
Lieutenant. (1) Pay shall begin at "Lieutenant, step 1," and increase to a maximum of "Lieutenant, step 6."
Lieutenant. A. The employee shall receive the rate of pay prescribed for Step “A”.
Lieutenant. Attend and successfully complete Fire Officer I course. Successfully demonstrate knowledge and skills development for Lieutenant. Four (4) years with Helena Fire Department and completion of all above courses required to be eligible for Lieutenant.
