  • Meal and Break Periods The unpaid meal period shall be thirty (30) minutes. If a represented employee does not receive this thirty (30) minute meal period, he/she may be relieved at the end of eight (8) hours. If the employee’s work day is not shortened (ie: if he/she works eight and one-half (8½) hours), he/she shall be compensated under the CBA for one-half (½) hour at time-and-a half (ie: paid for 45 minutes). Two 10 (ten) minute breaks shall continue to be provided for each full-time shift.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime cumulative on a shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given eight dollars ($8.00) meal money.
