Paid Rest Period Sample Clauses

Paid Rest Period. An employee shall be permitted a rest period of fifteen (15) consecutive minutes in both the first and second half of a full shift, seven and one-half (7½) hours. If an employee's shift is four (4) hours, he/she shall be entitled to a rest period of fifteen (15) consecutive minutes; if an employee's shift is three (3) hours, he/she shall be entitled to a rest period of ten (10) consecutive minutes. Rest periods shall be scheduled by the immediate supervisor.

Paid Rest Period. An employee shall be permitted a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in both the first and second half of a shift in an area made available by the Employer.

Paid Rest Period. 32.01 FTG will provide one ten (10) minute paid rest period in the first half of each shift and a thirty (30) minute paid lunch period in each shift.

Paid Rest Period. 24.01 The Employer will encourage supervisors/managers to facilitate, where possible, uninterrupted and appropriate meal breaks, (e.g. prerecording meal breaks on booking sheets).

Paid Rest Period. The Company will schedule two (2) rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes, one in each half shift, and a fifteen (15) minute rest period prior to the commencement of any overtime of one (1) hours or more.

Paid Rest Period. The entire period of an employee’s shift is considered paid time. Employees are expected to work for the entire shift and may take breaks for meals or rest periods as appropriate in accordance with the operational requirements of the Employer and the client needs.

Paid Rest Period. Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will provide two (2) paid rest periods of fifteen (15) minutes each per full working day and an additional fifteen (15) minutes for every four (4) hours, or part thereof, in excess of eight (8) paid hours.

Paid Rest Period. 9.1 An employee shall be permitted two (2) paid rest periods of fifteen (15) consecutive minutes in each seven and one-half (7.5) hours work day, in an area made available by the Employer; one (1) to be taken in the first half of the working day and the other one (1) to be taken in the second half of the working day.

Paid Rest Period. 14.01 Save and except for Dealers, employees will be provided with a fifteen (15) minute paid rest period during each half shift. This rest period cannot commence before the end of the first hour of an employee’s shift nor shall the rest period be given before one (1) hour has elapsed after an employee’s lunch period. Employees will also be provided with an additional fifteen (15) minute paid rest period if they are scheduled to work more than ten (10) hours. 14.02 Employees working shifts of six (6) hours or less will only be provided with one (1) fifteen (15) minute paid rest period. 14.03 Notwithstanding the provisions of this Article, with individual agreement employees may take their rest periods at different times and in a different manner than specified in this Article. 14.04 Paid breaks will be taken on location and all breaks will be taken away from the gaming area out of the public eye and in a designated area. 14.05 If employees are required to work more than three (3) hours beyond a regularly scheduled shift of at least eight (8) hours in length, with less than two (2) hours notice of the overtime, they will be eligible to receive a meal voucher (up to a maximum of $7.00) upon their request. The meal vouchers have no cash value, no balance is payable and cannot be transferred to another employee. If the employee receives three (3) or more meal vouchers in one (1) week, they will be subject to tax requirements as per Canada Revenue Agency.

Paid Rest Period. 31.01 The Company will permit employees to leave their workstations for up to ten minutes in the first half of their shift and up to ten minutes in the second half of their shift.
