Overtime performed by casual staff. (a) Where a casual Employee is required by the Employer to work in excess of standard full-time hours for the relevant shift or 38 hours per week or 76 hours in a fortnight, the casual Employee will be paid for such excess hours as overtime in accordance with the table below, calculated on the ordinary rate of pay, provided further that each period of overtime shall stand alone: Employee type Monday to Friday (inclusive) Saturday and Sunday Public Holiday Registered Nurse 175% for the first two hours, and 250% thereafter 250% 280% Enrolled Nurse 175% for the first two hours, and 250% thereafter 250% 285% Aged Care Employee 175% for the first two hours, and 250% thereafter 275% 312.5%

  • Services to be performed by Contractor In consideration of the payments set forth herein and in Exhibit “B,” Contractor shall perform services for County in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications set forth herein and in Exhibit “A.”

  • Pregnancy/Birth Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to pregnancy leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she has applied for, and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E.I.) benefits pursuant to Section 22, Employment Insurance Act, S.C. 1996, c.23, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.).

  • Pregnancy Leave (a) Pregnancy leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, except where amended in this provision.

  • Assistance by COUNTY STAFF 1.3.1. COUNTY shall assign an appropriate staff member to work with A-E in connection with the work of this CONTRACT. Said staff member's duties will consist of the giving of advice and consultations, assisting A-E in negotiations with other public agencies and private parties, miscellaneous items which in the judgment of A-E or COUNTY's staff warrant attention, and all other duties as may be described in Attachment A.

  • Authorization to Perform Services The Consultant is not authorized to perform any services or incur any costs whatsoever under the terms of this Agreement until receipt of a written Notice to Proceed from the City.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.
