Emergency Appointments Absence from work to attend emergency medical or dental appointments and medical appointments arising from a work related accident covered by Workers' Compensation, shall be paid for from the employee's accumulated sick leave.

Joint Appointments 22A.09 When sound academic reasons exist for doing so, a Faculty Member may be appointed jointly to two (2) or more Academic Departments or Faculties. LIMITED DURATION APPOINTMENT Section 1. Persons may be hired for special studies or projects of uncertain or limited duration which are subject to the continuation of a grant, contract, award, or legislative funding for a specific project.
