Paid Bereavement/Compassionate Leave entitlement. An employee is entitled to use up to two (2) days bereavement/compassionate leave for the purposes of spending time with a person who: • is a member of the employee’s immediate family or household member; and • has a personal illness, or injury, that poses a serious threat to his or her life (Compassionate Leave); or • after the death of a member of the employee’s immediate family or household member (Xxxxxxxxxxx Leave)
