Paid Days Off. ⎯ An employee who has completed one year of service as of January 1 of each year, according to the seniority roster, will be allowed four paid personal days off in each calendar year. Personal days must be requested in writing and approved by a supervisor. Such request must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the requested day. The Company will grant such requests at its discretion. Personal days may be used as sick days provided that an employee provides the Company with a physician’s note upon his return-to-work. Personal days are “use or lose” and may not be rolled over into the next year. (This provision is in lieu of Article B-10, Sick Leave, of the Agreement.)
