PRODUCTIVITY MEASURES. The parties agree through consultation to implement the following:-
PRODUCTIVITY MEASURES. 12.1 The employer and the PFA recognise that it is an organisational objective to increase the efficiency of police services provided to the community. To support this objective, the employer and the PFA acknowledge the importance of an Agreement that facilitates effective and efficient service delivery, and provides an appropriate remuneration package for employees.
12.2 This Agreement is underpinned by the employer’s objective of building operational capacity by supporting a healthy, fit, engaged and skilled workforce, operating in the right place at the right time.
12.3 In recognition of the fact that Victoria Police operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week including public holidays and may roster accordingly, all employees will be granted leave in accordance with Part 14.
12.4 All employees will successfully complete and maintain an OSTT qualification unless certified medically unfit to do so.
12.5 Where an employee who is certified medically unfit in accordance with sub-clause 12.4 ceases to be so certified, that employee must successfully complete OSTT at the earliest opportunity.
12.6 OSTT may include an operational readiness assessment to determine the employee’s operational readiness capacity. Remedial training to meet operational readiness standards may involve operational deployment, but unless agreed to by the employee, such deployment shall not exceed two shifts per OSTT qualifying cycle.
12.7 Employees engaged after 1 July 2010 may be required to undertake a fitness test to meet the defined standards of fitness.
PRODUCTIVITY MEASURES. 23.1 Employee's are to notify management, in advance, of the impending completion or suspension of a service call, contract or project. Allowing management to organise the next job and notify the employee as soon as practicable to help achieve compliance with the objectives of clause 9.1.4.
23.2 Where an employee is on a site and becomes aware of possible maintenance and services opportunities, they shall advise the client of the company's service and advise company management of the possible service opportunity.

PRODUCTIVITY MEASURES. Following negotiations between the parties, it has been agreed that the following measures designed to achieve real gains in productivity, efficiency and flexibility have been implemented.
PRODUCTIVITY MEASURES. (i) The parties are committed to jointly develop the best practice standards to produce productivity but not at the sacrifice of safety, quality and the aim is to produce an end product that has Zero Defects.
(ii) An On-Call system will be provided to meet our customer’s needs, it will be implemented as follows; All maintenance plumbing and roofing tradesmen will participate in an on call roster. This roster is provided 6 months in advance. This roster takes effect between the hours of 3:30pm and 6am Monday to Friday and from 3:30pm Friday to 6am Monday. This roster also includes all public holidays except for those incurred between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day (during this period, volunteers will be called on to cover after hours). The on call tradesperson is expected to respond to all calls made during the after hours period and to complete all after hours work in a professional and safe manner. A minimum of 2 hours applies to call outs that are not completed concurrently. Where the employee feels they have performed an excessive number of concurrent call outs, they may discuss with their Supervisor receiving a 2 hour minimum for some or all calls, or discuss another mutually beneficial arrangement such as time off in lieu. The on call tradesperson is backed up by the person following them on the roster. This back up person is expected to be contactable at all times during this back up period and attend any calls or provide assistance to the on call tradesman if required.
