Common use of Paid Injury Leave Clause in Contracts

Paid Injury Leave. All members shall be allowed injury leave with full regular salary not to exceed one thousand and forty (1,040) hours for each service connected injury. Injury leave with pay may be extended by the City Council upon such terms as the Council in its discretion may establish. Any injury leave extension decision by City Council is not subject to the Grievance Procedure.
