Common use of PAID VACATIONS Clause in Contracts

PAID VACATIONS. (a) Employees covered by this Agreement whose normal workday shallconsist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work which may be interruptedby a lunch period, and whose normal workweek shall consist of forty (40)hours per week, and who have been employed by the City for a period of at least one (1) year shall receive paid vacations during each year, calculated as follows: Years of Continuous Amount of Length of Service Vacation Pay Vacation l year through 5 96 hours' pay 12 workdays 6 years through 9years 120 hours’ pay 15 workdays 10 years through 15 years 160 hours’ pay 20 workdays 16 years and more 200 hours’ pay 25 workdays (b) Employees who are included in (a) above who have been employedby the City for less than one (1) year shall accrue one
