Common use of Part-Time Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Part-Time Eligibility. A-9.01 Part-time employees who average twenty-four (24) hours or more per week for thirteen (13) consecutive weeks including paid sick leave and General Holiday pay, shall be eligible to participate in the long term disability, dental, life insurance and extended health care plans provided by the Co-operative. If an employee’s weekly hours should drop below an average of twenty-four (24) hours over a thirteen (13) consecutive week period, including paid sick leave and General Holiday pay, then the employee may be dropped from said plans at the discretion of the Co-operative.
