Common use of Part-Time Eligible Employees Clause in Contracts

Part-Time Eligible Employees. A part-time eligible employee is defined as a non-temporary employee in a regular part–time position who falls within one of the following two classifications: a. Employee who works three and three quarter (3.75) or more hours, but less than six (6) hours per day and is included in the job classifications under the CTA Bargaining group or: b. Employee who works four (4) or more hours per day, but less than six (6) and was hired prior to January 1, 2012 and remains continually employed in such position. Any employee who is hired or rehired into a part-time position or transfers from a full-time into a part- time position on or after January 1, 2012, will not be eligible under this definition, except for those in the CTA bargaining group.
