Common use of Part-Time Professional Employees Clause in Contracts

Part-Time Professional Employees. a. Through August 24, 2005 any professional employee hired for a position of 50% or more shall be eligible for the Inter-Lakes School District Health Plan. Part-time professional employees* who teach less than 50 percent will be eligible for benefits paid by the District at that same percentage as their employment. *(Footnote on page 7 applies.) b. Beginning on August 24, 2005, any professional employee who is hired by the District prior to July 1, 2005 shall be grandfathered to be eligible for the benefits described in paragraph a. above. Beginning August 25, 2005, any professional employee who is hired by the District on or after July 1, 2005 who teaches less than 100%-time will be eligible for benefits paid by the District at the same percentage as their employment. Eligibility for all job and fringe benefits for part-time professional employees will be determined by averaging teaching time over the school year.
