PATERNITY AND ADOPTION LEAVE. A. Upon advance written request, a total of no more than ten (10) days of paid sick leave will be granted for the birth or adoption of the Member’s child. The number of days will be determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee. B. Upon advance written request, a total of no more than five (5) days per contract year of paid sick leave will be granted for the birth of the Member’s grandchildren. The number of days will be determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
