Paternity. G.26.1 Paternity leave of up to two (2) days will be granted when a child is born while the father has teaching duties. Paternity leave will be granted with pay upon application to the Superintendent. G.26.2 Paternity leave is activated when the teacher has teaching duties on the day of the birth or when the mother and/or child return home. No case of paternity leave shall be granted later than two weeks after the birth of the child unless the child does not return home in the first two weeks.
