Patient Insurance. The trial will be covered by a participant insurance in case the trial site (clinic) does not cover the study by its liability insurance (Haftpflichtversicherung). All subjects (parents) will be informed about their rights and obligations in regard to insurance policies before participating in the study. A copy of the insurance policies will be handed out to each patient (parents).
Patient Insurance. For all patients included in the study an insurance cover will be effected in accordance with the legal regulations. An insurance certificate and conditions will be provided to the Investigator prior to start of patient recruitment. Before the contract is concluded, the Sponsor is obligated to secure indemnity insurance for himself and the investigator for the entire duration of the clinical trial through which compensation is provided in case of death or injury of the trial subject that resulted from the participation in the clinical trial. The insurance certificate is an integral part of this agreement and is included in the appendix of this contract. Insurance coverage refers to all patients participating in the study and to any health damages caused by the applied medication or by procedures performed on the body of the insured person in connection with the clinical study. The Investigator will inform all patients about their obligations arising from the general insurance conditions: During the course of the clinical study, the patient must be informrmed by the Investigator about any other medical treatment he/she undergoes. Any health injuries which may be a consequence of the study must be notified immediately to the insurance company. Additionally the investigator will hand out a copy of the insurance conditions if requested by local law. The Investigator is obliged to notify immediately any suspicious injuries/claims to the Sponsor’s project manager. 8. POJIŠTĚNÍ PACIENTA U všech pacientů zařazených do studie bude zajištěno pojistné krytí v souladu s právními předpisy. Pojistný certifikát a podmínky budou poskytnuty Zkoušejícímu ještě před začátkem náboru pacientů. Zadavatel se zavazuje zajistit před uzavřením smlouvy na provedení studie pojištění odpovědnosti za škodu pro sebe i zkoušejícího, jehož prostřednictvím je zajištěno i odškodnění v případě smrti subjektu hodnocení nebo v případě škody vzniklé na zdraví subjektu hodnocení v důsledku provádění studie, a to na celou dobu provádění studie. Doklad o příslušném pojištění je nedílnou součástí této smlouvy a přílohou této smlouvy. Pojistné krytí se vztahuje na všechny pacienty účastnící se studie a veškerá poškození zdraví způsobené podanými léky nebo procedurami provedenými na těle pojištěné osoby ve spojení s klinickou studií. Patient Insurance. If applicable, patient insurance will be secured according to national or local requirements. Where applicable, the name and address of the relevant insurance company, the certificate of insurance, the policy number and the sum insured will be provided in the Investigator’s File.
Patient Insurance. The Parties acknowledge and agree that the compensation payable under Section 3.1 and Exhibit B is an administrative charge payable to Vendor and shall not cover the actual vaccine administration to patients. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.1 and Exhibit B, Vendor shall have the right to xxxx each patient’s third-party health insurance for vaccine administration reimbursable by commercial insurers. Vendor agrees not to charge any patients directly for copays or other out-of-pocket amounts.
