Common use of Pay for Court Appearances Clause in Contracts

Pay for Court Appearances. In the event that an employee is required by subpoena or specifically assigned by supervisory or command personnel to appear to testify in court outside the employee's regularly scheduled work hours, the employee shall be paid at the rate of one and one half times (1½) his/her regular rate of pay for the actual time in court with a minimum pay equivalent for three (3) hours.
