Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. PAYMENT FOR INJURED EMPLOYEES 17.01 In the event that an employee is injured in the performance of their duties, the employee shall, to the extent that they are required to stop work and receive treatment, be paid for wages for the remainder of their shift. If it is necessary, the Employer will provide or arrange for, suitable transportation for the employee to the doctor or hospital and back to the site and/or to the employee’s home as necessary.
