Payment for Holidays. An employee who is required to work on any of the above named holidays will receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular hourly rate for every hour worked on such day, in addition to pay for the holiday in accordance with the Employment Standards Act or the employee may be granted an alternate day off (substitute day), at a mutually agreeable time, to be taken within sixty (60) days after the holiday. Payment for such substitute day will be based upon the entitlement in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
Payment for Holidays. (a) Regular Employees
Payment for Holidays. The wage payable under this clause to a weekly employee when that employee is absent from work on a public holiday which occurs on an ordinary working day will be the ordinary wage the employee would have received on that day had that day not been a public holiday.
Payment for Holidays. Any employee who qualifies for holiday pay and is required to work on any of the above named holidays will receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular hourly rate for every hour worked on such day in addition to pay for the holiday at the employee's regular hourly rate.
Payment for Holidays. An employee who is required to work on any of the above named holidays will receive pay in accordance with 15.02 (c) in addition to pay for the holiday at the Employee’s regular hourly rate. In the alternate, the Employee may be granted an alternate day off (lieu day) at a mutually agreeable time, to be taken within sixty (60) days after the holiday except at Christmas and New Year’s. Payment for such lieu day will be based upon the entitlement the employee otherwise would have been eligible to receive for the holiday at straight time hourly rates.

An employee who is required to work on any of the above named holidays will receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular hourly rate for every hour worked on such day, in addition to pay for the holiday at the employee's regular hourly rate or the employee may be granted an alternate day off (lieu day) to be taken within sixty (60) days after the holiday except at Christmas and New Years. Payment for such lieu day will be based upon the entitlement the employee otherwise would have been eligible to receive for the holiday at straight time hourly rates. Written notification will be provided to employees denied lieu time.
Payment for Holidays. An employee shall receive pay in a regular assignment, or in an assignment in lieu of a regular assignment as a temporary advisor, acting employee, or substitute in a higher class than that of the regular assignment, for holidays listed in Board Rule 1101 and for other holidays authorized by the Board of Education within the employee’s assignment basis which are part of the employee’s regularly assigned days, subject to the following conditions and exceptions:
a. The employee has been in paid status during any portion of the last working day of assignment preceding the holiday or during any portion of the start of first working day of assignment following the holiday provided that:
(1) An employee on sabbatical leave of absence shall receive the same rate of pay for a holiday occurring during the leave as is received for other working days in such period, and
(2) An employee on a military leave of absence entitled to compensation shall only receive pay for the portion of the holiday period needed to meet the total time for which compensation is required by law.
Payment for Holidays. 39 Members shall be paid by the first Friday in December for all holidays 40 enumerated in Section 1 of this Article. Payment shall be based on a holiday year 41 from Christmas of the preceding calendar year through Thanksgiving of the current 42 calendar year, except that if a member is employed for less than the full holiday year 43 from Christmas to Thanksgiving, he shall be paid only for those holidays observed 44 during his period of employment. 47 ARTICLE 7
Payment for Holidays. An employee who is required to work on any of the above-named holidays will receive doubled banked lieu time, in addition to pay for the holiday at the employee's regular hourly rate.
