Payment for Holidays. (a) Regular Employees Regular employees shall not have their pay reduced by virtue of holidays specified in Article 16.01.
Payment for Holidays. The wage payable under this clause to a weekly employee when that employee is absent from work on a public holiday which occurs on an ordinary working day will be the ordinary wage the employee would have received on that day had that day not been a public holiday.
Payment for Holidays. An employee who is required to work on any of the above named holidays will receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular hourly rate for every hour worked on such day, in addition to pay for the holiday in accordance with the Employment Standards Act or the employee may be granted an alternate day off (substitute day), at a mutually agreeable time, to be taken within sixty (60) days after the holiday. Payment for such substitute day will be based upon the entitlement in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.

An employee who is required to work on any of the above named holidays will receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular hourly rate for every hour worked on such day, in addition to public holiday pay (calculated as per Article 16.3) or the employee may be granted an alternate day off (lieu day), at a mutually agreeable time, to be taken within ninety (90) days after the holiday except at Christmas and New Year’s. Payment for such lieu day will be based upon the entitlement the employee otherwise would have been eligible to receive for the holiday at straight time hourly rates.

Employees who actually work on a holiday shall receive one and one half ( 1 ½ ) times their regular rate of pay for each hour worked in addition to the holiday pay.

Payment for Holidays. 39 Members shall be paid by the first Friday in December for all holidays 40 enumerated in Section 1 of this Article. Payment shall be based on a holiday year 41 from Christmas of the preceding calendar year through Thanksgiving of the current 42 calendar year, except that if a member is employed for less than the full holiday year 43 from Christmas to Thanksgiving, he shall be paid only for those holidays observed 44 during his period of employment. 47 ARTICLE 7
