Common use of Payment in Lieu of Long Service Leave Clause in Contracts

Payment in Lieu of Long Service Leave. (i) A Teacher with 10 years' continuous service with the School may cash out an amount of additional long service leave accumulated by the Teacher which is in excess of their entitlements under the LSL Act. (This means long service leave accrued in excess of 0.866 weeks per year.) Subject to the Teacher having 10 years’ service, long service leave may be cashed out on the following basis:
