Rostering. 8.1 This clause 8 shall only apply in respect to Employers listed in Schedule 5Legal Entities and Schools Covered by this Agreement, who engage Teachers to work for 48 weeks or more per year in an Early Childhood Service. 8.2 Rostering arrangements will not occur that would otherwise entitle employees to shift penalties under the Award. 8.3 Employees will not be rostered to regularly work outside the Award span of hours. 8.4 Employees will not be regularly required to work overtime. Rostering. (a) For employees working to a roster, a roster showing normal starting and finishing times and the name of each employee will be prepared by the employer and will be displayed in a place conveniently accessible to the employees at least seven days before the commencement of the roster period. (b) An employee may be rostered to work on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday and will be paid the appropriate penalty in accordance with clause 30ͶPenalty rates. (c) A roster may be altered by mutual consent at any time or by amendment of the roster by the employer on seven days͛notice. Changes to regular rosters are subject to consultation in accordance with Schedule D ʹConsultation. (d) Notwithstanding sub-clause 29.4(c) a roster may be altered at any time to enable the functions of the employer to be carried out where another employee is absent from work due to illness or in an emergency. In such circumstances, unless agreed between the employer and the employee, an employee must be given 48 hours͛notice of a change to a rostered shift. If 48 hours͛notice is not provided, the employee will be entitled to a penalty of 50% of the ordinary time rate instead of any other penalty that may apply. (e) Where such alteration requires an employee to work on a day which would otherwise have been the employee͛s day off, the day off instead will be arranged by mutual consent.
Rostering. 3.5.1 Unless otherwise agreed between the parties to this Agreement, the Employer will roster Employees using three rosters, being the Guide, Operational Roster and the Actual Roster, for the period of this Agreement. 3.5.2 Ordinary shifts and additional shifts may be worked on any day of the Roster Cycle. 3.5.3 Shift Work Patterns on the Guide and Operational Roster may be varied by the Employer after advice to and Consultation with the Union and with Employees affected. Alteration of Shift Work Patterns requires 14 days’ notice to be given to the affected Employees. 3.5.4 The Roster Cycle shall be fortnightly but that may be varied by the Employer at its discretion following advice to and Consultation with the Rostering Committee, the Union and with Employees affected. The Employer shall provide affected Employees with 14 days prior notice of intention to change the length of the Roster Cycle. Where a different length of cycle is in place, the ratio of numbers of shifts to weeks will be varied proportionately based on the prescription for two (2) weeks.
Rostering. 2.4.1. The main purpose of a roster system is to ensure that requisite staff cover is available to meet safe and efficient operational requirements, while providing flexibility for modern service delivery, and that individual staff members have sufficient predictability of attendance. 2.4.2. The parties are committed to undertaking ongoing reviews of rostering arrangements as appropriate to the service delivery and work operational needs of the sector concerned. Any such reviews will be comprehensive in scope taking into account the optimum allocation of staffing resources to meet particular local business requirements. Any changes made will be agreed and in the event of issues arising between the parties, the matter shall be referred to the LRA Oversight Body in the final instance.
Rostering. Pilots on customer flying assignments shall normally be assigned flying, simulator, and other duties using a roster. Scheduled operators shall be requested to provide a roster of at least two (2) weeks’ duration. Non-scheduled operators shall be requested to provide a roster of at least three (3) days’ duration. If a change is required to a pilot’s roster, he or she shall be notified as far in advance as possible and a new roster will be provided if feasible.
Rostering. For Lutheran School Officers working to a roster, a roster showing normal starting and finishing times and the name of each Lutheran School Officer will be prepared by the School and will be displayed in a place conveniently accessible to the Lutheran School Officers at least seven days before the commencement of the roster period. A Lutheran School Officer may be rostered to work on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday and will be paid the appropriate penalty in accordance with Clause 97 – Overtime. A roster may be altered by mutual consent at any time or by amendment of the roster by the School on seven days’ notice. Notwithstanding Clause 98.5(c) a roster may be altered at any time to enable the functions of the School to be carried out where another Lutheran School Officer is absent from work due to illness or in an emergency. In such circumstances, unless agreed between the School and the Lutheran School Officer, a Lutheran School Officer must be given 48 hours’ notice of a change to a rostered shift. If 48 hours’ notice is not provided, the Lutheran School Officer will be entitled to a penalty of 50% of the ordinary time rate instead of any other penalty that may apply. Where such alteration requires a Lutheran School Officer to work on a day which would otherwise have been the Lutheran School Officer’s day off, the day off instead will be arranged by mutual consent.
RosteringWhere practicable, medical officers should not be rostered on weekends or be on-call, immediately prior to or after leave.

Rostering. (a) Employees will work in accordance with a weekly or fortnightly roster fixed by the employer. (b) The roster will set out employees’ daily ordinary working hours and starting and finishing times and will be displayed in a place conveniently accessible to employees at least seven days’ before the commencement of the roster period. (c) Unless the employer otherwise agrees, an employee desiring a roster change will give seven days’ notice except where the employee is ill or in an emergency. (d) Seven days’ notice of a change of roster will be given by the employer to an employee. Except that, a roster may be altered at any time to enable the functions of the hospital or facility to be carried out where another employee is absent from work due to illness or in an emergency. Where any such alteration requires an employee working on a day which would otherwise have been the employee’s day off, the day off instead will be as mutually arranged.
Rostering. 14.1 Full-time and part-time team members are permanent team members engaged on a weekly basis. 14.2 The engagement of a casual team member shall be on a daily shift basis. Notice of termination of the employment of a casual team member for a reason other than a reason which would justify instant dismissal is one hour by either party. 14.3 The Reject Shop will exhibit team member rosters, on a notice board or electronically, which will show for each team member; (1) The number of ordinary hours to be worked each week (2) The days of the week on which work is to be performed; and (3) The commencing and ceasing time of work for each day of the week. 14.4 The Reject Shop will retain superseded notices for twelve months. A team member may request in writing and The Reject Shop may agree to other arrangements which are to be recorded in the time and wages records. It cannot be made a condition of employment that a team member make such a request.
