Payroll Discrepancies. A. At the beginning of each year the District will provide teachers with a salary verification form (Appendix D) that will accurately reflect payroll information. B. When an adjustment in salary is made, the teacher shall receive a written notice from the superintendent explaining the change prior to the implementation of the adjustment.

Payroll Discrepancies. 1. If a Pilot believes that there has been an error in the computation of his pay, he should submit a Payroll Discrepancy Form. The Pilot should describe the discrepancy with as much specificity as possible. If the Pilot submits the discrepancy within two (2) months of the paycheck that gave rise to the problem, he will receive a response within ten (10) days of receipt of submission. If the discrepancy is submitted after two (2) months, he will receive a response within thirty (30) days. A Pilot whose discrepancy is denied will be provided with a reason for the denial. 2. When the resolution of a payroll discrepancy results in the payment of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more, the Company will, upon request from the Pilot, issue a check for the appropriate amount within five (5) working days from the date the Company confirms the discrepancy to the Pilot.
Payroll Discrepancies. Payroll discrepancies over $50.00 shall be paid to Employees within forty eight (48) hours of the Employer being notified.
Payroll Discrepancies. If there is a known discrepancy that cannot be verified prior to submitting payroll, the Company will pay the Employee in the current payroll and make necessary adjustments in subsequent pay periods. This would include bereavement pay.

A driver who has a shortage in their pay of fifty dollars ($50.00) or more shall be paid by direct deposit within three (3) working days upon discovery of the error. If the discrepancy occurred 90 days or less from the effective date of the payroll change, any difference between the incorrect payment/deduction and the correct payment/deduction shall be refunded or collected; b. If the payroll discrepancy occurred more than 90 days from the effective date of the applicable payroll change, the employee will recoup any loss in payment due to Company error in the following payroll. If the Company overpays an employee or deducts an amount that is short of the correct deduction, terms of repayment to the Company will be discussed prior to any action taken. The Company would like to recoup the loss; this would only occur if terms of repayment are agreed upon by both parties. For example, the Company will disperse the repayment over several pay periods to reduce the financial burden to the employee. The employee is not required to accept repayment terms proposed by the Company.
Payroll Discrepancies. (a) Payroll adjustments will be handled in a timely manner. Adjustments will be processed upon receipt of an alteration slip submitted to Payroll with appropriate authorization. (b) The Company will provide locally produced cheques when requested and where the discrepancy is greater than $75 net.

  • POST-REVIEW DISCOVERIES If, during the implementation of an undertaking, a previously unidentified property that may be eligible for inclusion in the National Register is encountered, or a known historic property may be affected in an unanticipated manner, the Agency Official shall follow 36 C.F.R. § 800.13(b). A. In the event that previously unidentified archeological sites or human remains are discovered during project construction, that portion of the project shall stop immediately and the project manager shall take appropriate steps to immediately secure the site, and shall notify the Agency Official within 48 hours. The Agency Official shall immediately notify the SHPO/THPO, Tribes, and other relevant consulting parties including descendent communities. B. If human remains are discovered, they shall be respectfully covered over and protected. In addition, the project manager shall immediately notify local and/or state law enforcement authorities including medical examiner or coroner, pursuant to local and state law. C. The Agency Official shall consult with the SHPO/THPO and Tribes or other descendent community representatives to determine if the discovered site appears eligible for the National Register. If it does appear eligible, the Agency Official shall submit a treatment plan for the avoidance, protection, recovery of information, or destruction without data recovery to the SHPO for review and comment. The treatment plan shall be consistent with the ACHP’s handbook Treatment of Archaeological Properties and subsequent amendments and SHPO Human Remains Discovery Protocol. If human remains are discovered, the treatment plan shall follow the guidance in Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Policy Statement Regarding Treatment of Burial Sites, Human Remains and Funerary Objects, including appropriate consultation with descendent communities. Avoidance and preservation in place are the preferred options for treating human remains. D. The Agency Official shall notify relevant consulting parties of the unanticipated discovery and provide the proposed treatment plan for their comment. Construction work in the area of the discovery shall not continue until the plan has been accepted by SHPO/THPO and implemented. E. An undertaking that may affect a human burial site shall comply with provisions of New York State and local laws, the terms of this Agreement notwithstanding.

  • Payroll Records CONTRACTOR and any Subcontractor(s) shall comply with the requirements of Labor Code Section 1776. Such compliance includes the obligation to furnish the records specified in Section 1776 directly to the Labor Commissioner in an electronic format, or other format as specified by the Commissioner, in the manner provided by Labor Code Section 1771.4. The requirements of Labor Code Section 1776 provide in part: 1.1.1. CONTRACTOR and any Subcontractor(s) performing any portion of the work under this Contract shall keep an accurate record, showing the name, address, social security number, work classification, straight time and overtime hours worked each day and week, and the actual per diem wages paid to each journeyman, apprentice, worker, or other employee employed by CONTRACTOR or any Subcontractor(s) in connection with the work. 1.1.2. Each payroll record shall contain or be verified by a written declaration that it is made under penalty of perjury, stating both of the following: (a) The information contained in the payroll record is true and correct. (b) The employer has complied with the requirements of Labor Code Sections 1771, 1811, and 1815 for any work performed by his or her employees in connection with the Contract. 1.1.3. The payroll records shall be certified and shall be available for inspection at the principal office of CONTRACTOR on the basis set forth in Labor Code Section 1776. 1.1.4. CONTRACTOR shall inform COUNTY of the location of the payroll records, including the street address, city and county, and shall, within five working days, provide a notice of any change of location and address of the records. 1.1.5. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1776, CONTRACTOR and any Subcontractor(s) shall have 10 days in which to provide a certified copy of the payroll records subsequent to receipt of a written notice requesting the records described herein. In the event that CONTRACTOR or any Subcontractor fails to comply within the 10-day period, he or she shall, as a penalty to COUNTY, forfeit $100, or a higher amount as provided by Section 1776, for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each worker to whom the noncompliance pertains, until strict compliance is effectuated. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that, without limitation as to other remedies of enforcement available to COUNTY, upon the request of the Division of Apprenticeship Standards or the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement of the California Department of Industrial Relations, such penalties shall be withheld from progress payments then due CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR is not subject to a penalty assessment pursuant to this section due to the failure of a Subcontractor to comply with this section. CONTRACTOR and any Subcontractor(s) shall comply with the provisions of Labor Code Sections 1771 et seq., and shall pay workers employed on the Contract not less than the general prevailing rates of per diem wages and holiday and overtime wages as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations. CONTRACTOR shall post a copy of these wage rates at the job site for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed in the performance of this Contract, as well as any additional job site notices required by Labor Code Section 1771.4(b). Copies of these rates are on file at the principal office of COUNTY’s representative, or may be obtained from the State Office, Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR”) or from the DIR’s website at xxx.xxx.xx.xxx. If the Contract is federally funded, CONTRACTOR and any Subcontractor(s) shall not pay less than the higher of these rates or the rates determined by the United States Department of Labor.

  • Other Payroll Deductions Upon appropriate written authorization from the employee, the Board shall deduct from the salary of any employee and make appropriate remittance for annuities, credit union, savings bonds, insurance, or any other plans or programs approved by the parties.

  • Questions About Review The Asset Representations Reviewer will make appropriate personnel available to respond in writing to written questions or requests for clarification of any Review Report from the Indenture Trustee or the Servicer until the earlier of (i) the payment in full of the Notes and (ii) one year after the delivery of the Review Report. The Asset Representations Reviewer will not be obligated to respond to questions or requests for clarification from a Noteholder or any other Person and will direct such Persons to submit written questions or requests to the Indenture Trustee.

  • SAVINGS/FORCE MAJEURE A force majeure occurrence is an event or effect that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, acts of war, acts of public enemies, strikes, fires, explosions, actions of the elements, floods, or other similar causes beyond the control of the Contractor or the Commissioner in the performance of the Contract which non- performance, by exercise of reasonable diligence, cannot be prevented. Contractor shall provide the Commissioner with written notice of any force majeure occurrence as soon as the delay is known. Neither the Contractor nor the Commissioner shall be liable to the other for any delay in or failure of performance under the Contract due to a force majeure occurrence. Any such delay in or failure of performance shall not constitute default or give rise to any liability for damages. The existence of such causes of such delay or failure shall extend the period for performance to such extent as determined by the Contractor and the Commissioner to be necessary to enable complete performance by the Contractor if reasonable diligence is exercised after the cause of delay or failure has been removed. Notwithstanding the above, at the discretion of the Commissioner where the delay or failure will significantly impair the value of the Contract to the State or to Authorized Users, the Commissioner may: a. Accept allocated performance or deliveries from the Contractor. The Contractor, however, hereby agrees to grant preferential treatment to Authorized Users with respect to Product subjected to allocation; and/or b. Purchase from other sources (without recourse to and by the Contractor for the costs and expenses thereof) to replace all or part of the Products which are the subject of the delay, which purchases may be deducted from the Contract quantities without penalty or liability to the State; or c. Terminate the Contract or the portion thereof which is subject to delays, and thereby discharge any unexecuted portion of the Contract or the relative part thereof.
