Common use of PEOPLE Deduction Clause in Contracts

PEOPLE Deduction. The Board agrees to deduct from the wages of any employee who is a member of the Union, a PEOPLE (Public Employees Organized to Promote Legislative Equality) deduction as provided for by written authorization. Such authorization must be executed by the employee and may be revoked at any time by giving written notice to the Board Treasurer and the OAPSE State Office. The Board agrees to remit dues promptly to the OAPSE State Office together with an itemized statement showing the name of each employee from whose pay such deductions have been made and the amount deducted during the period covered by the remittance. The Board will submit a check separate from the employee’s Union dues deductions.
