Common use of Per Diem Employee Clause in Contracts

Per Diem Employee. An employee who works on a day-to-day basis as needed by the University and who does not fall under the classification of Full Time or Part Time, except that employees who were hired as Per Diem prior to the effective date of this Agreement but who fit the definition of Part Time employee shall remain classified as Per Diem. Per Diem employees are not entitled to any benefits under this Agreement except where they are specifically provided for.
