Performance Improvement Incentive. Employees who obtain, at their own expense and on their own time, a license that is not required in their existing job description (i.e. laborer obtains a CDL or CDL Driver obtains a hoisting license), will be eligible for a $750 stipend to be paid in the last payroll of each fiscal year. Employees must maintain the license in good standing for 12 full months before receiving the stipend. During any situation and at the request of management, these employees may be requested to utilize these out of grade licenses and will be compensated in accordance with the MOA between the City of Melrose and the Union, Department of Public Works Reorganization, page 1, item three (3), dated February 14, 2012.

  • Performance Improvement Xxxxxx Permanente and the Coalition are competing in a challenging market that is characterized by a limited workforce, changes in technology, changes in clinical practice, cultural diversity, changing demographics and high demand for quality service. The parties are committed to the enhancement of organizational performance so that working in Partnership is the way Xxxxxx Permanente does business. Under this Agreement, the parties will work together to: » develop and invest in people, including the development of and investment in managers, supervisors and union stewards; » engage employees at all levels; » align the systems and processes that support the achievement of organizational and Partnership goals; » enhance the ability of Coalition unions to advance their social mission and the welfare of their members; » recognize and reduce parallel structures; » ensure joint management-union accountability for performance; » grow membership; » redesign work processes to improve effectiveness, efficiency and work environment; » develop and xxxxxx unit-based teams; » share and establish expectations regarding broad adoption of successful practices in areas such as service, attendance, workplace safety, workforce development, cost structure reduction, scope of practice and performance-based pay; and » communicate with employees on an ongoing basis regarding performance goals and targets, as well as performance results at all levels of the organization. Each regional LMP council shall develop approaches aimed at reducing variation between medical centers, facilities and departments in the resources available for partnership. In particular, such a plan should: » ensure at a regional level there is adequate time for teams to review performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and test changes to drive improvement; and » provide regional or facility support to departments as needed to cross-cover or backfill and jointly determine the most cost-effective manner to provide the support.

  • The Performance Improvement Process (a) The Performance Improvement Process will focus on the risks of non- performance and problem-solving. It may include one or more of the following actions:

  • Performance Incentive 4.9.1 If the Seller delivers Coal to the Purchaser in excess of ninety percent (90%) of the ACQ in a particular Year, the Purchaser shall pay the Seller an incentive (“Performance Incentive”/ “PI”), to be determined as follows: PI = P x Additional Deliveries x Multiplier Where: PI = The Performance Incentive payable by the Purchaser to the Seller P = The Base Price of Highest Grade, as shown in Schedule II Additional Deliveries = Quantity [in tonnes] of Coal delivered by the Seller in the relevant Year in excess of 90% of the ACQ. Multiplier shall be 0.15 for Additional Deliveries between 90%-95% of ACQ and 0.30 for Additional Deliveries in excess of 95% of ACQ.

  • Retirement Incentive a) If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st four (4) years prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for each of his/her remaining four (4) years of service. If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st three (3) years prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for each of his/her remaining three (3) years of service. If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st two (2) years prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for each of his/her remaining two (2) years of service. If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st one (1) year prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for his/her remaining year of service. Once an employee submits an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st, that employee shall be removed from the salary schedule contained in Article IX of this Agreement at the beginning of the following school year. All calculations for increased TRS creditable earnings will be based on the TRS creditable earnings in the year of the submission of the irrevocable notice of retirement. Once the employee submits an irrevocable notice of retirement an employee’s creditable earnings shall be increased by six percent (6%) of the year of submission, but in no case will the employee’s TRS creditable earnings increase exceed six percent (6%) of the year of submission. If, after submitting an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st, the employee resigns from, or is dismissed from duties for which the employee was paid a stipend or additional compensation the previous year, the retirement incentive for that employee will be recalculated accordingly.

  • Performance Incentives Provided that sufficient funds are available from athletics revenue or gifts for the unrestricted use of the Department of Athletics, Athletics Director shall be entitled to receive additional non-salary compensation from the University in the form of the following stated bonuses for increased responsibilities, provided that all varsity sports are in compliance with all Governing Athletics Rules and University Rules, and there are no pending or active NCAA or __________ Conference investigations or major violations of which Athletics Director knew or should have known.   • Wellness Incentive Employees participating in the State’s medical plan and who meet the wellness criteria established by the State, in consultation with the Union, shall receive a reduction in medical insurance co-share payments up to a maximum of $500 per year. The earned reductions in medical insurance co-share payments shall be awarded to active employees in FY 2009 or the fiscal year following the employee’s participation in the wellness activities. The Wellness Incentive program will integrate preventative and wellness behaviors into the medical plan. Examples of possible activities include completion of the Health Assessment, obtaining a primary care physician, wellness coaching programs, preventive screenings, non-smoker or completion of smoking cessation program, and/or participation in a program that measures key points in assessing an individual’s overall health.
