Performing Duties in Higher Classification. An employee who is temporarily assigned to perform the duties of a higher rated classification than his own shall receive the higher rate of pay on the first and following days. All temporary assignments shall be made in writing.
Performing Duties in Higher Classification. A unit member who is required to perform duties inconsistent and in a classification higher than his/her regular assignment will be paid a 10 percent (10%)of the unit member’s hourly rate or the hourly rate of the higher classification range’s first step, whichever is higher, beginning on the tenth (10th) working day until the end of the out of class work.
