Personal Leave Payout at Termination Including Retirement. Personal leave days may not be used to extend employment beyond the last day of work unless a fiscal year faculty member will be a USNH Retiree (as defined in USY V.C.9.2.1) in which case up to 10 vacation leave days may be used to extend employment from the last day of active service to the effective date of retirement (USY V.C.9.1.1.1). All unused vacation days (up to 30 days) will be paid to the faculty member (or their estate in the case of the faculty member's death). Fiscal year faculty members laid off may leave personal leave intact pending recall.

  • VESTED RETIREMENT GRATUITY VOLUNTARY EARLY PAYOUT a) An Employee eligible for a Sick Leave Credit retirement gratuity as per Appendix A shall have the option of receiving a payout of his/her gratuity on August 31, 2016, or on the employee’s normal retirement date.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.

  • Re-employment After Retirement Employees who have reached retirement age as prescribed under the Pension (Municipal) Act and continue in the Employer's service, or are re-engaged within three (3) calendar months of retirement, shall continue at their former increment step in the pay rate structure of the classification in which they are employed, and the employee's previous anniversary date shall be maintained. All perquisites earned up to the date of retirement shall be continued or reinstated.
