Personal Leaves of Absence. 20.01 If circumstances permit, the Company may grant a personal leave of absence without pay, to an employee who requests same. A request for such leave shall be in writing stating the reasons at least one (1) month prior to the desired commencement date of the leave, except in extenuating circumstances. If the Company grants a leave of absence, then it shall confirm the terms of the leave in writing.
