Personal or Family Leave. An employee who has been employed for at least thirty (30) days is entitled to up to five (5) days of unpaid leave during each calendar year to meet responsibilities related to: (a) The care, health, or education of a child in the employee’s care or, (b) The care or health of any member of the employee’s immediate family. An employee wishing to take a family leave must give the Employer as much notice as reasonable and practicable in the circumstances. The Employer may require the employee to provide reasonable verification of the necessity of the leave.
