Placement on Compensation Schedule. Teachers new to the District employed after the effective date of this agreement shall be credited on the compensation schedule with up to ten (10) years of prior full-time experience in schools which were at the time of such prior experience fully accredited by the North Central Association or equivalent accreditation agency.

Placement on Compensation Schedule. The employment appointment submitted to a prospective faculty member shall include their proposed placement on the compensation schedule, including the position for which they are employed, and, if non-tenured, the length of the appointment. After consultation with the faculty member and designated administrator, this proposed placement on the compensation schedule shall be recommended by the College President to the Board. Credit for initial salary placement of faculty members shall be subject to the following: a. Approved degree(s) and other approved credits earned from accredited institutions of higher education earned prior to employment with the college. b. Previous college teaching experience and/or previous high school teaching experience. c. Military credit is limited to two years except in the case of military credit that involves full-time teaching. d. Occupational experience directly related to the teaching field. All credit and experience for initial salary placement purposes must be earned prior to initial placement. Official post-secondary transcripts, and/or appropriate documentation for military and/or occupational experience, must be filed in the Office of Human Resources prior to initial placement. As part of the interview process, a candidate for a position governed by this Agreement shall be given a copy of Article V.A. 1-2. The faculty member’s signature on the initial placement notification memo, a copy of which will be placed in the faculty’s personnel file, demonstrates acceptance of their placement.

  • Compensation Schedule Except as otherwise provided herein, employees shall be compensated within the pay range assigned to the classification of the position in which they are employed and in accordance with the pertinent conditions of employment enumerated in this Agreement. Sec. 503 REGULAR PAY DAY: Employees shall be paid on or about the Friday following the end of the biweekly payroll period.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule.

  • Placement on the Salary Schedule Members of the bargaining unit shall be placed on the salary schedule at the step appropriate for training and creditable years of experience.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an Employee's vacation period, she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the Employee.

  • Vacation Schedule 1. Vacation periods shall be fixed by the Employer to suit the requirements of his business, but as far as possible and practicable, vacations will be given during the summer months, and for employees with school-age children, during the school vacations. Vacation periods shall be unbroken unless by mutual consent between Employer and employee, or where it is impractical. Grievances relating to this Section shall be subject to the Adjustment and Arbitration Procedure in this Agreement. 2. Time off, based upon service in the Industry Vacation Plan, may be granted to an employee by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee. The Employer shall not be required to give time off based upon service under the Industry Vacation Plan. However, if such additional industry vacation time off is granted to an employee, such time off shall be counted as time worked for the purpose of computing the employee's earned vacation benefits on his next anniversary date of employment.

  • Payroll Deduction Schedule The Board will deduct the representation fee in equal installments, as nearly as possible, from the paychecks paid to each employee on the aforesaid list during the remainder of the membership year in question. The deductions will begin with the first paycheck paid:

  • Compensation Table Attachment C of each Approved Service Order is a compensation table setting forth the manner in which the City will pay the Maximum Service Order Compensation (“Compensation Table”). Each Compensation Table is subject to the terms and conditions set forth below in Subsections 10.4 through 10.7.

  • REFUND OF UNEARNED COMPENSATION The Party of the Second Part agrees to refund the Party of the First Part any compensation received for which no services were rendered.
