SALARY AND RATES OF PAY. 3-1 The salaries of all teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement. 3-2 Compensation for the following additional duties/responsibilities performed by teachers is set forth in Appendix B and made part of this Agreement. a) travel for teachers duly authorized to use their own vehicles. (B-1) b) extra-curricular activities. (B-2) c) school psychologists, teachers of special education, ESL teachers, bilingual teachers, department heads in high schools, head counselors of guidance in middle schools, vocational department heads, department chairpersons in high schools and middle schools, athletic directors, coaches, all city band directors, school treasurers and advisors. (B-3, X-0, X-0, X-0, B-9) d) work beyond the school year and school day. (B-4) e) Federal, Summer, Before and After School, Evening School and In-Service programs. (B-8) f) assisting at athletic events. (B-10) g) teacher in-charge. (B-11) 3-3 All teachers on the salary schedule shall be paid on a pro-rated bi-weekly basis every second Friday with the first payroll check to be given to teachers on the second Friday after the teacher work year begins. Teachers have the option of having their salary distributed over twenty-one (21) or twenty-six (26) bi-weekly pay periods. A teacher may request a change in his/her bi-weekly pay period selection only when extenuating circumstances exist and approval of a request shall not be unreasonably withheld. Teachers shall have the option to continue to have their check forwarded to banks which participate in a payroll program provided written authorization is given to the School Department by the teachers. This authorization shall remain in full force and effect until this authorization is revoked by the teacher in writing.

SALARY AND RATES OF PAY. A. Faculty members shall be paid bi-weekly during the period of employment. B. Faculty members shall be issued their first paycheck no later than two (2) weeks following the start of each semester. 1. Effective September 1, 2017, part-time faculty members will be compensated at the following rates: Pay grade 1: $1,282 per credit Pay grade 2: $1,420 per credit Pay grade 3: $1,571 per credit Pay grade 4: $1,714 per credit Pay grade 5: $1,853 per credit 2. Effective September 1, 2020, part-time faculty members will be compensated at the following rates: Pay grade 1: $1,399 per credit Pay grade 2: $1,537 per credit Pay grade 3: $1,688 per credit Pay grade 4: $1,831 per credit Pay grade 5: $1,970 per credit The above are minimum per credit rates and nothing shall preclude the College from offering higher rates in its discretion. Effective with the 2016-17 academic year, those faculty teaching graduate courses will receive four (4) teaching credits per course instead of three (3). C. It is provided, however, that any part-time faculty who has been compensated at a rate greater than that set forth in C. above shall continue to receive the previously higher rate for any subsequent appointments. D. Effective July 1, 2018, faculty who conduct independent studies shall be compensated at the rate of $28 per hour for instructional services on behalf of the students up to a maximum of fifteen (15) hours per student. Effective July 1, 2020, faculty who conduct independent studies shall be compensated at the rate of $30 per hour for instructional services on behalf of students up to a maximum of fifteen (15) hours per student. Part-time faculty shall be allotted credit for a given course taught or assignment performed which is equal to the number of academic credits or workload credits allotted to a full-time faculty member for the same course or similar work. SALARY AND RATES OF PAY. Subd. 1. Contracted teachers working fewer than thirty-two (32) hours per week (.8 FTE contract) will be paid on a pro-rata basis according to Salary Schedule A for 2015-2016 and Salary Schedule B for 2016-2017.

The entire "compensation program" proposal for District 201 teachers shall be contingent upon no increase in teacher attendance days beyond those provided by the calendar for the 1990-91 school year or upon proper remuneration as pro-rated upon the basis of the new salary schedule at the rate of 1/185 for each additional day. The calendar adopted shall allow for 181 student attendance days and four (4) days which may be used as institute days, with five (5) of the student attendance days declared special holidays at the close of school in June provided there are sufficient student attendance days to meet state requirements. Any days allowed for a teachers' institute but not used as such shall increase the minimum term by the school days not so used.
