Military Credit. Military service in the Armed Forces of the United States which is directly related to the teaching assignment may be applied toward placement.

Military Credit. Active military years service as defined by ORC 3307.62 may be credited for salary placement up to five (5) years. Anything less than eight (8) consecutive months of continuous service will not be credited as a year’s service.
Military Credit. In accordance with the law and state guidelines, experience credit will be given for military service that interrupted professional education employment. Form DD214 must be submitted as verification of experience and will be maintained in the employee’s personnel file.

Military Credit. A military leave of absence shall be granted to any employee who shall be drafted for military duty in any branch of the armed forces of the United States. Upon return from such leave, the employee shall be placed at the same position on the salary schedule as she/he would have been had she/he worked in the District during such period.
