If a faculty member is unable to perform assigned duties due to illness/injury or may pose a health risk to the University community, the President or representative may require the faculty member to submit to a medical examination, the results of which will be released to the University, by a health care provider chosen and paid by the University, or by a health care provider chosen and paid by the faculty member, who is acceptable to the President or representative. Such health care provider will submit the appropriate medical certification(s) to the University.
