Portable Devices. The following restrictions apply to storing Confidential Information on portable devices:
(a) Company Data may not be stored on any portable device, including but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, mobile devices, MP3 devices, and USB devices, except as authorized by Company;
(b) Company Data containing any Personal Information or any information concerning any third party may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, mobile devices, MP3 devices, and USB devices unless approved by Company and the Company Data on the devices is encrypted and secured from unauthorized access; and
(c) All other Confidential Information may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, and MP3 devices unless the devices are password protected to secure them from unauthorized access.
Portable Devices. 14.1.1. The supplier shall ensure that all devices including portable and removal media that will contain Company data shall be encrypted to FIPS 2 standard at minimum.
Portable Devices. Include, but are not limited to, CDs, DVDs, eReaders, external hard drives, Google Glasses, laptops, memory sticks, smart phones, tablets, thumb drives, and USB drives
Portable Devices. Protected Information, with the exception of Business Contact Information, may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, MP3 devices, and USB devices.
Portable Devices. If I use a portable electronic device, such as a laptop, I will ensure that it meets Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) security standards and acknowledge that I am responsible for maintaining the security of such information in accordance with HIPAA. If I am unsure whether the device is compliant, I will consult with my supervisor or employer before using such a device. • Training. I have completed and understand the HIPAA training required for my position by my organization or employer. • Noncompliance. I agree to immediately report suspected noncompliance to my supervisor. I will cooperate with any investigation of possible noncompliance and will not withhold relevant information. I understand that unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of PHI may violate federal or state laws and may result in criminal and civil penalties against me personally or against my employer.
Portable Devices. ADT Data may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, smartphones, MP3 devices, and USB devices unless the ADT Data on the portable device is encrypted and secured from unauthorized access.
Portable Devices. The use of portable devices is for educational and business purposes only. All rules of conduct apply. The school accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to portable devices brought into the school.
Portable Devices. Within this Agreement, portable devices include, but are not limited to handhelds/PDAs, Ultramobile PCs, flash memory devices (e.g. USB flash drives, personal media players), portable hard disks, and laptop/notebook computers. Portable media includes, but is not limited to optical media (e.g., CD’s, DVD’s, Blu- Rays), magnetic media (e.g., floppy disks, Zip or Jaz disks or drives,) or flash media (e.g., Compact Flash, SD Card, MMC). Requestor is authorized to store WADOC Data on portable devices or media so long as the data shall be given the following protections:
i. Encrypt the data with a FIPS approved cryptographic algorithm.
ii. Control access to devices with a unique user ID and password or stronger authentication method such as a physical token or biometrics.
iii. Manually lock devices whenever they are left unattended and set devices to lock automatically after a period of inactivity, if this feature is available. Maximum period of inactivity is 20 minutes.
iv. Physically protect the portable device(s) and/or media by keeping them in locked storage when unused; using check-in/check-out procedures when device or other media is being shared; taking frequent inventories of media, and access to media by users.
v. When being transported outside of a secure area, portable devices and media with confidential WADOC Data must be under the physical control of Requestor’s staff with authorization to access the data.
Portable Devices. Provider will provide portable monitoring devices (each a “Portable Device”), for a specified fee as listed in the Order Form or as may be updated by Provider in the Membership Agreement, to each Member to track the daily activity of such Members. All obligations with respect to delivery and use of the Portable Devices shall be subject to the Membership Agreement. The Parties acknowledge and agree that Provider may charge additional fees for the deployment of such Portable Devices which price lists may be modified from time to time in Provider’s sole discretion. Provider shall not be required to provide a Portable Device to any Eligible or other person in violation of US Export Controls or Trade Sanctions, including but not limited to persons who are Blocked Persons or who are located in an Embargoed Jurisdiction.
Portable Devices. You may install additional copies the software on one or more portable devices for the exclusive use of the named user of the first licensed copy of the software.
