Maximum Period. Working in a vacant higher level position for which there is no incumbent may not exceed a six (6) month period. However, the Personnel Director may approve an additional period on a case-by-case basis.

Maximum Period. The Maximum Period for each Disability Absence shall be determined at the beginning of such Disability Absence. The Maximum Period for any one Disability Absence is the number of days, based on the employee's continuous service, determined from the table below, reduced by the number of days for which the employee was paid for Disability Absences previously in the same calendar year. In no case may an employee receive payments in one calendar year for more than the number of days shown in the table as the Maximum Period. In addition, whenever an employee receives payments for the Maximum Period, the employee must work for at least thirty (30) days following the return before the employee will be eligible to receive any payments to which the employee may otherwise become entitled under this Plan. In addition, whenever the Disability Absence of an employee continues from one calendar year into another, the employee must work for at least thirty (30) days following the return before becoming eligible for a new Maximum Period, provided, however, an employee shall be eligible for a new Maximum Period, if the employee has not exhausted the Maximum Period to which the employee was eligible in the prior year and is again disabled as a result of an unrelated disability or of a complication of the prior disability as distinguished from a continuation of the prior disability and the employee is otherwise eligible for Disability Benefits before the employee has worked the required thirty (30) days.
Maximum Period. Benefits will continue during disability for a maximum of twenty- six (26) weeks for any one continuous period of disability, whether from one or more causes, or for successive periods of disability due to the same or related cause or caus- es.
Maximum Period. Part time leave without pay may be approved for a specific period not exceeding two years. This maximum period applies regardless of the number of hours of leave taken per week and can only be extended by the member submitting a new application.
Maximum Period. The length of family & medical leaves from employment without pay shall be limited to no more than 12 weeks within any twelve-month period measured forward from the date the employee's family and medical leave begins. The right to take the birth or placement leave expires at the end of the 12-week period following the birth or placement and must be a continuous leave unless the County and employee agree that the leave may be taken intermittently. The 12 week leave to care for the employee's child, spouse or parent or because of the employee's serious health condition may be taken intermittently or on a reduced work schedule when medically necessary. In the event this leave is taken intermittently or on a reduced work schedule and the leave is foreseeable based on planned medical treatment (such as therapy), the County may require the employee to temporarily transfer to an alternative position.
Maximum Period. For a Professor/Student/Visitor studying or working or visiting in Israel and holding a valid work permit issued by the Israeli Ministry of Interior. The Insured is medically covered for his entire stay in Israel, maximum period of insurance is for two years.
Maximum Period. When application is made for a temporary leave of absence and the request is for a justifiable reason, local Management will grant such leave without pay for a period not exceeding 14 weeks.
(a) If an employee is granted a leave of absence, the Company will require that the employee utilize some of the remaining vacation for which he/she is eligible before the leave is granted.
Maximum Period. No Awards will be made under the Plan after January 31, 2028, but the terms of Awards granted on or before the expiration date may extend beyond such expiration date. At the time an Award is granted or amended or the terms or conditions of an Award are changed, the Committee may provide for limitations or conditions on such Award.
