Positions Temporarily Vacant. (a) The Employer will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the workload of an employee covered by this Agreement shall not be increased as a result of positions temporarily vacant due to illness, vacation, leave of absence or any other reason. The Employer shall maintain a list of on- call employees where the nature of the work performed is of a continuous nature. (b) Substitution selections of regular employees shall be made from persons qualified by a satisfactory evaluation report and in order of seniority in the appropriate classification.
