Pre-Opening Assistance to Franchisees. (a) In a Franchisee's selection of a site for the establishment and operation of a Franchised Business, the Representative must: (i) develop and provide standards and criteria for the threshold consideration of possible sites; (ii) develop meaningful information concerning possible site selection and present this information to a Franchisee; (iii) upon request of a Franchisee, consult with the Franchisee regarding site selection and the negotiation of real estate leases; and (iv) consider and evaluate applications presented by the Franchisees for site approval and forward all materials to the Franchisor along with the Representative's analysis and recommendation for the Franchisee's final approval or disapproval for the purpose of approving or disapproving sites so presented. (b) The Representative will provide the Franchisee with Basic Management Training as stated in Section 2.8 of the Franchise Agreement at its training facility, pre-opening inspections as stated in Section 2.10 of the Franchise Agreement, pre-opening on-site training and an opening supervisor as stated in Section 2.11 of the Franchise Agreement and grand opening assistance stated Section 2.12 of the Franchise Agreement. The Representative will assist the franchisee to help ensure that the Franchisee's Franchised Business opens within 120 days from the signing of the Franchise Agreement.

Pre-Opening Assistance to Franchisees. (a) With respect to a Franchisee's selection of a site for the establishment and operation of a Franchised Business, the Master Franchisee shall be required to: (i) develop and provide standards and criteria for the threshold consideration of possible sites; (ii) develop meaningful information concerning possible site selection and present such information to a Franchisee; (iii) upon request of a Franchisee, consult with the Franchisee regarding site selection and the negotiation of real estate leases; and (iv) consider and evaluate applications presented by the Franchisees for site approval. The site for a Franchised Business must be located in the Master Franchise Territory. (b) The Master Franchisee shall provide the Franchisee with Corporate Management Training, pre-opening inspections, pre-opening on-site training, an opening supervisor, and grand opening assistance as set forth in the Franchise Agreement. The Master Franchisee shall use its best efforts to ensure that a Franchisee's Franchised Business opens within 120 days from the execution of the Franchise Agreement.

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by CBB for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by CBB, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit CBB to route the CBB Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by CBB. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by CBB and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at CBB's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, CBB will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. CBB shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to CBB’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Directory Assistance Service 8.3.1 Directory Assistance Service provides local end user telephone number listings with the option to complete the call at the caller's direction separate and distinct from local switching.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s). Section 2. No information gathered by an Employee Assistance Program may be used to discipline an employee. Section 3. Employees shall be entitled to use accrued sick leave for participation in an Employee Assistance Program. Section 4. Each university will offer training to local Union Stewards on the Employee Assistance Program available in their university, on university time, where an Employee Assistance Program is available.

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.

  • Office Visits (other than Preventive Care Services) This plan covers office and clinic visits to diagnose or treat a sickness or injury. Office visit copayments differ depending on the type of provider you see.   • Health Care Operations “Health Care Operations” shall have the same meaning as the term “health care operations” in 45 CFR §164.501.

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.
