Preliminary Test. The Contractor shall operate the FESS in accordance with the provisions of the test plan developed under Task 11. The FESS shall be operated throughout a variety of operating conditions and test signals to establish its capabilities for providing frequency regulation. Mechanical testing shall be performed to show operating characteristics and limit checks. Control system tuning shall be performed. Tests shall be conducted to evaluate secondary benefits including the delivery of active power and voltage regulation. The Contractor shall record and document FESS performance, and shall submit a report to the NYSERDA and DOE Project Managers for review and comment.

Preliminary Test. The preliminary tests for the mechanical auxiliary equipment shall include the followings : (a) Hydrostatic pressure tests on all piping systems. The test pressures shall be respectively the same as specified in Clause S4.01 (1) (b). (b) Insulation and continuity tests on wiring including tests for correctness of connection. (c) Checking pipework for freedom form obstructions. (d) Checking for correct operation of each control, protection and indication device. (e) Checking the operation of all pump and compressor assemblies for vibration, overheating, leakage from joints, seals, glands, etc.

Preliminary Test. The preliminary test includes the examination of technical documentation. In general, the following documentation must be submitted for examination: a) Design documentation presenting the suspension mechanisms in their entirety as well as their individual parts and containing information on suspension elements, hoisting accessories, drive mechanisms, counterweights, travel ranges, safety equipment; b) Calculations proving the strength of supporting structural elements, supporting drive, components, suspension elements, safety equipment and connections; c) Information on materials, standardised parts and any special manufacturing processes; d) Layout plans, wiring and circuit diagrams as well as program flowcharts for hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems including lists of items, legends and functional descriptions; e) The examiner may request the submission of further documentation if this is necessary for reasons of safety as- sessment.
Preliminary Test. The purpose of the preliminary test is to saturate the Cement Mortar (CM) lining and to stretch the pipeline. To do this, the test pressure is kept constant for a period of 24 hours by permanently pumping in more air as and when required. If any leaks are found or any changes in length occur beyond what is allowed, then the pressure must be released from the pipeline and the cause remedied.

  • Acceptance Tests 11.1 If the Contract provides acceptance tests for Goods and/or the result of Services after their completion and/or delivery to the Purchaser, the acceptance shall only be considered as definitive when such tests have demonstrated the compliance of the Goods and/or the result of the Services to the requirements in the Contract. 11.2 Where the Contract provides for an acceptance procedure in the presence of both parties, at the successful completion of such procedure, the Purchaser shall issue the Supplier with an acceptance certificate which shall authorise the Supplier to invoice the Purchaser for any payment due on such acceptance. 11.3 The Purchaser shall at its discretion be entitled to issue and acceptancecertificate with reserves. The Supplier shall be obliged to remedy any non-conformities within the period set out in the acceptance certificate.   • Laboratory Testing All laboratories selected by UPS Freight for analyzing Controlled Substances Testing will be HHS certified.

The Company will give written notice to the IEDC within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Company, or an employee of the Company in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of payments under the Agreement, termination of the Agreement and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in the Agreement is in excess of $25,000.00, the Company agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by: A. Publishing and providing to all of its employees a statement notifying them that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the Company’s workplace, and specifying the actions that will be taken against employees for violations of such prohibition;

  • Commercial Operation Date Testing and Modifications Prior to the Commercial Operation Date, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall test the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities and System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades and Developer shall test the Large Generating Facility and the Developer Attachment Facilities to ensure their safe and reliable operation. Similar testing may be required after initial operation. Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each make any modifications to its facilities that are found to be necessary as a result of such testing. Developer shall bear the cost of all such testing and modifications. Developer shall generate test energy at the Large Generating Facility only if it has arranged for the injection of such test energy in accordance with NYISO procedures.

  • Post-Commercial Operation Date Testing and Modifications Each Party shall at its own expense perform routine inspection and testing of its facilities and equipment in accordance with Good Utility Practice as may be necessary to ensure the continued interconnection of the Large Generating Facility with the Participating TO’s Transmission System in a safe and reliable manner. Each Party shall have the right, upon advance written notice, to require reasonable additional testing of the other Party’s facilities, at the requesting Party’s expense, as may be in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.
