Equipment Bases. Provide concrete equipment bases for all floor mounted equipment furnished under this contract. Concrete bases shall be 3-1/2"-inches high unless noted otherwise and shall extend 3-inches beyond all sides of the unit. Trowel all edges at a 45 degree angle. This work shall be done in accordance with Division 3 of the specifications by the Division 16 Contractor. Bases shall be provided for switchboards, motor control centers, transformers and all other floor mounted equipment.

Equipment Bases. The Contractor shall supply and install all equipment concrete bases. Final setting on bases shall be cement grout. The Contractor shall provide connecting bolts, gaskets, leveling shims and washers, and shall supply the anti-vibration mounts for the diesel-generator unit and auxiliaries. Each piece of equipment shall be installed strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The complete initial lubrication of all equipment, including all gear cases, sump, and other oils shall be provided by the Contractor.
Equipment Bases. A. Curb Mounted Bases: 1. Curb mounted equipment where vibration isolation is required, principally roof top heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, shall be mounted on vibration isolation bases that fit over the curb and under the isolated equipment. The extruded aluminum top and bottom members shall contain cadmium-plated springs having a 1-inch minimum deflection with 50 percent additional travel to solid. Spring diameters shall be no less than 0.8 times the spring height at rated load. Wind resistance shall be provided by means of resilient snubbers in the corners with a minimum clearance of 1/4 inch so as not to interfere with spring action except in high winds. The weather seal shall consist of continuous closed cell sponge materials both above and below the base and a waterproof flexible neoprene connection duct joining the outside perimeter of the aluminum members. Foam or other contact seals are unacceptable at the spring cavity closure. Caulking shall be kept to a minimum. The bases shall be rectangular in shape for equipment other than centrifugal refrigeration machines and pump bases, which may be "T" or "L" shaped. Pump bases for split case pumps shall include supports for suction and discharge base elbows. Perimeter members shall be beams with a minimum depth equal to 1/10 of the longest dimension of the base. Beam depth need not exceed 14 inches provided that the deflection and misalignment is kept within acceptable limits as determined by the manufacturer. Height saving brackets shall be employed in mounting locations to provide a base clearance of 1 inch. C. Type II Bases: 1. Type II bases shall be steel members used to cradle machines having legs or bases that do not require a complete supplementary base. Type III Bases: 1. Type III bases shall be rectangular foundations consisting of concrete filled structural steel beam or channel forms.   • REPAIRED OR REPLACED PARTS / COMPONENTS Where the Contractor is required to repair, replace or substitute Product or parts or components of the Product under the Contract, the repaired, replaced or substituted Products shall be subject to all terms and conditions for new parts and components set forth in the Contract including Warranties, as set forth in the Additional Warranties Clause herein. Replaced or repaired Product or parts and components of such Product shall be new and shall, if available, be replaced by the original manufacturer’s component or part. Remanufactured parts or components meeting new Product standards may be permitted by the Commissioner or Authorized User. Before installation, all proposed substitutes for the original manufacturer’s installed parts or components must be approved by the Authorized User. The part or component shall be equal to or of better quality than the original part or component being replaced.

  • Equipment Return You may use the Leased Equipment provided under this plan only while you remain an active customer in good standing and in compliance with this Agreement (including, without limitation, the RCA). You must return all Leased Equipment in good operating condition, normal wear and tear excepted, within 30 days following cancellation or disconnection of your DISH service or disconnection of your Leased Equipment. If you acquired your Leased Equipment from a retailer, then you must return all Leased Equipment to: (A) your original retailer, if such cancellation or disconnection of your DISH service or disconnection of your Leased Equipment occurs during the first 30 days following your initial activation of programming; or (B) DISH, if such cancellation or disconnection of your DISH service or disconnection of your Leased Equipment occurs after such 30-day period.   • MEASURING EQUIPMENT 1. Seller will maintain and operate, atlts own, expense and atthe point of delivery of gas hereunder, a meter or meters and othernecessary equipment by which the volume of gas delivered hereunder shall be measured. Such meters and equipment shall remain the property of the Seller. 2. Buyer agrees lo furnish to Seller electricity for operating Seller's meters, at not cost to Seller. 3. Measurement on Seller's meter or meters shall be conclusive of both parties except where the meter Is defective or fails to register, or if found in E)rror, in either of which case Seller shall repair or replace the meter and the quantity of gas delivered while the meter was out of order or failed to register shall be estimated: (a) By using the registration of any check meter If installed and accurately registering, or, In the absence of (a): (b) By correcting the error If the percentage of error by calibration, test or mathematical calculation, or, in the absence of both (a) and (b) then: (c) By estimating the quantity of delivery from deliveries during periods under similar oonditions when the meter was registering actUrately; and an appropriate billing adjusbnentshall be made In accordance with the current Rules and Regulations governing gas systems issued by the Commission. 8. Seller will maintain its meters in .good order and to this end Wiii make periodic tests of its meters pursuant to the current Rules and Regulations governing gas systems issued by the Commission, or at such shorter intervals as seem to Seller desirable. lfBuyer Is dissatisfied with the accuracy at eny time, it may call upon Seller to have Iha meter tested in accordance with all regulatioos relating to such tests and results of such tesls as found in the current Rules and Regulations governing gas systems issued by the Commission. 9. Each party shall preserve all records for aperiod of at least two (2) years.

  • Metering Equipment 13.01. Utility will furnish, install, own and maintain metering equipment capable of measuring the flow of kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy. The Customer's service associated with the CRG will be metered at a single metering point. The metering equipment will measure energy delivered by Utility to Customer and also measure energy delivered by Customer to Utility. Customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the premises for installation of this equipment and its future maintenance or removal.

  • New Equipment Where new types of equipment and/or operations, for which rates of pay are not established by this Agreement, are put into use after the ratification date of this Agreement within operations covered by this Agreement, rates governing such operations shall be subject to negotiations between the parties. This paragraph shall apply to all new types of equipment including office and clerical equipment. In the event an agreement cannot be reached within sixty (60) days after the date such equipment is put into use, the matter may shall be submitted to the National Grievance Committee for final disposition.   • Special Equipment The Employer agrees to provide specialty tools, emergency supplies/equipment, testing equipment and safety equipment as needed to perform required duties as determined and authorized by the Chief or designee. The emergency supplies/equipment will include appropriate survival provisions and equipment for each permanent Maintenance Mechanic 4 and the Law Enforcement Communications Systems Supervisor when they are performing duties that would require such provisions and equipment. When necessary, the employer will replenish used or expired survival provisions and damaged and unusable equipment. All supplies and equipment will be returned to the employer when the employee is no longer performing the duties that would require the survival provisions and/or equipment.
