Preparing for Qualifications. The Employer shall give consideration to employees who do not possess the required formal qualifications but are preparing for qualification prior to the posting of a vacancy, when filling vacancies for which there are no qualified internal applicants. Such employees will be given an opportunity to qualify within a reasonable length of time as mutually agreed between the parties to this agreement, and to revert to their former position if the required qualifications are not met within such time.
