Preventative Maintenance Plan Developer. The Contractor shall work in collaboration with Client Agency personnel to develop a preventative maintenance plan for each of the moveable bridges shown in Attachment 2- DOT Moveable Bridges by District. Documentation shall include written, graphical, and pictorial data that defines the necessary maintenance actions, component specific procedures, and manufacturer’s repair recommendations for the various systems or components. The plan shall also provide information on the various tools and testing equipment required, acceptable tolerances, safety procedures, repair/replacement parts, and a step-by- step sequence required to complete the maintenance or repair work. The Contractor shall submit to Client Agency for review and approval, paper and electronic copies of the preventative maintenance plan within five (5) business days of Contractor’s completion. The Contractor’s preventative maintenance plan shall also include a minimum of the following: • Recommended frequency for cleaning various parts and/or systems that require cleaning. • Recommended frequency for lubrication of parts and/or systems that require lubrication. • Recommended frequency for oil changes for the various systems that require oil changes. • A checklist of recommended maintenance activities listed on a weekly, monthly, or yearly schedule, as needed, for record keeping and documentation of maintenance activities. • A laminated Emergency Manual Override procedure manual to include step-by- step instructions for operators. Upon Client Agency approval, the development of the preventative maintenance plan shall be paid at the hourly rate listed in Exhibit B- Price Schedule.

The Contractor shall justify all costs for Major Corrective Maintenance to the Authorized User’s satisfaction, and for Repair Items that qualify as Major Corrective Maintenance the Contractor shall be compensated for the full cost of the work unless the corrective maintenance is determined to be the result of the Contractor’s negligence, in which case the Contract shall not be additionally compensated. Prior to performing any Major Corrective Maintenance, the Contractor shall submit a Cost Proposal to the Authorized User for approval. The Cost Proposal shall be a maximum, not to exceed price; shall include all labor and material costs associated with the Major Corrective Maintenance and shall be calculated on a per item basis (like items shall not be combined in the calculation). Upon approval, a letter authorizing the work will be issued by the Authorized User and a copy of such letter must accompany the invoice for the Major Corrective Maintenance services. Please note that if subcontractors are to be used, the requirements of Section 2.22 ‘Subcontracting of Work’ shall be met.

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.
